Around 70% of cases dealt with by the ASA relate to advertising that is perceived as misleading. Because this is such a large area of the Advertising Code we have split the content into three modules. You can buy all three by clicking the ‘add to basket’ button below. Or alternatively explore below what is covered in each course and pick the ones most relevant to you.
The Misleading Adverstising series is broken down as follows:
Misleading Advertising: Part One
On this course you will discover how to avoid creating advertising that could inadvertently mislead your customers, and create campaigns that comply with the rules. This course focuses on how to deal with aspects of 'free', 'comparisons' and 'availability' in your ads
Misleading Advertising: Part Two
On this course you will learn the importance of having the evidence to back up your claims; making sure any qualifications are clear; and how to avoid misleading your customers with the use of endorsements and testimonials
Misleading Advertising: Part Three
The third part of our misleading advertising eLearning covers the remaining essentials you need to know in order to avoid inadvertently misleading your customers and help you create campaigns that comply with the rules. The course primarily focuses on the rules around pricing but also covers exaggeration and guarantees and after-sales service.
Each course concludes with an assessment and on passing, a personalised certificate for your records.
